Best Christian Apps

Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Best Christian Apps (“we,” “us,” or “the site”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit bestchristianapps.com (the “Site”) or contact us by email. The Site is operated by Sankalp Jonna as an individual publisher.

We have written this policy in plain language. If anything is unclear, email hello@bestchristianapps.com and we will explain.

Information we collect

We collect a small amount of information, in two ways:

Aggregate analytics. The Site uses Vercel Analytics to measure aggregate traffic — for example, total page views per page, the country a visit originated from, the referring website, and the type of device or browser used. Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not set cookies in your browser and does not build a persistent profile of you across sites. Visit data is hashed and used only to produce aggregate counts.

Information you send us. If you email us at hello@bestchristianapps.com, we receive your email address, your name (if you include it), and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.

We do not run advertising, retargeting pixels, or third-party marketing trackers on the Site. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), and we do not rent or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

Legal basis for processing (EU / UK visitors)

For visitors in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with similar laws, our legal basis for processing the limited information described above is our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (and the equivalent UK GDPR provision):

  • For aggregate analytics, our legitimate interest in understanding which pages readers find useful so we can improve the Site. We have weighed this against your privacy interests and concluded the impact is low because the data is aggregated, not used to build a profile of you, and not shared with advertisers.
  • For email correspondence, our legitimate interest in replying to messages you choose to send us.

Where Vercel processes data on our behalf to host the Site and generate analytics, Vercel acts as our processor. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time under Article 21 of the GDPR by emailing hello@bestchristianapps.com.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site, including understanding which content readers find useful.
  • Reply to messages you send us and follow up on app suggestions, corrections, or other feedback.
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set any tracking cookies on the Site. Your browser may store standard technical data (such as cached files) that any website uses to load correctly, but we do not use cookies to identify you or track your activity across other sites.

If we ever introduce cookies — for example, to remember a theme preference — we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to run the Site:

  • Vercel Inc. — hosts the Site and provides Vercel Analytics. Vercel processes standard request data (including IP address and user-agent) to deliver pages and generate aggregate analytics. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
  • Email provider. Messages you send to hello@bestchristianapps.com are received and stored by our email provider so we can read and reply to them.

The Site links to third-party websites and to the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and individual app websites. Once you leave the Site, the privacy practices of those third parties apply, not ours.

Where your information is processed

The Site is operated from India. Hosting and analytics are provided by Vercel, which processes data in the United States and other regions. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed in countries with data-protection laws different from those in your country of residence. We rely on the safeguards offered by our service providers to protect information during these transfers.

How long we keep information

Aggregate analytics data is retained by Vercel according to its own retention schedule and is not personally identifying to us. Email correspondence is retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, and then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. These rights can include:

  • Access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction of inaccurate information.
  • Deletion of your information.
  • Objection to or restriction of certain processing, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bestchristianapps.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and within any period required by applicable law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

India: Grievance Officer and complaints

For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011, we act as a Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data we process through the Site.

Where our processing of your personal data is based on your consent (for example, when you choose to email us), you may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us; withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

If you have a grievance about our handling of your personal data, you may contact our Grievance Officer:

We will acknowledge your grievance within the period required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational, or with any other regulator with jurisdiction.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please email us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
